Installation of a Retro Sound Radio in a 1971 Chevy Truck

Here we have a 1971 Chevy Truck. We are putting kit panel speakers without cutting anything factory. We are installing a retro sound radio, a vintage radio which has Bluetooth tramp out that sounds like a new radio but looks like an old radio.

We are also installing an Alpine amp and woofer under the seat, no cutting done and a center channel speaker above.

I went into the shop to see how much it would cost to wire and install a speaker I bought for a newly purchased vehicle. Mark came out to see what the issue was. He identified the prior wiring harness as a Kenwood, which was slightly different from the Pioneer head unit I had. He gave some tips on installing the equipment I had, reassured me that it was a job I could handle, and gave me enough connectors to wire the new harness myself. I really appreciated both the tips and the connectors. Thank you, Mark!

Mark and Dave are great. They know a lot about a lot. I went in and gave them a wishlist of what was most important to me (work the understanding that I did have kind of a budget), and then they came back with an array of options. Ultimately, I got a setup that sounded great and had all the features I wanted that fit right into my price point. It was a great experience and I will absolutely be back.
